Forever for Our Good

A Study of the Book of Deuteronomy
by Katie J. McCoy

Monday evenings at 6:30 pm
August 3–September 28

Facilitator: Sarah Mantooth

Location: Sarah Lambert’s home in Winder
(Contact the church office for the address)

The laws of the Old Testament can sometimes feel distant or difficult to understand, but Deuteronomy reveals that they are rooted in God’s grace, love, and desire for his people to flourish. In this eight-session study, author and theologian Katie J. McCoy invites women to discover how Deuteronomy points to an abundant life of wholehearted devotion to the Lord.

Together, we will explore how God’s love shapes our love for him and for others, and how his commands reveal his character and remain relevant for our lives today. Join us for meaningful Bible study, conversation, and fellowship as we discover why God’s Word is truly forever for our good.

The Book of Esther

Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm
Starts August 12

God is working—even when you can’t see it. Join us on Wednesday evenings for a Bible study through the book of Esther. Together we’ll explore the story of an ordinary young woman whom God used in extraordinary ways and discover timeless truths about courage, faith, wisdom, and trusting God’s perfect timing.

We’ll take one chapter each week, enjoying rich discussion, practical Bible study tools, and authentic community as we learn to recognize God’s hand at work in our own lives.

Upheld: Meeting Our Trustworthy God through Isaiah

by Kori De Leon

Monday evenings at 6:30 pm
Starts October 12

Location: Sarah Lambert’s home in Winder
(Contact the church office for the address)

Life is filled with challenges, heartache, and circumstances that can leave us longing for comfort, restoration, and reassurance. In this six-week study, Bible teacher Kori De Leon guides women through Isaiah 40–48, where God repeatedly reminds his people of his faithfulness, mercy, and sustaining presence.

Together, we will explore God’s powerful promises: I am with you. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you. Through weekly teaching, personal study, reflection, and group conversation, we will be reminded that the God who upheld his people in Isaiah’s day is the same trustworthy God who holds us today.

Throughout the year, Winder First Women gathers for times of Bible study, fellowship, and special events designed to encourage spiritual growth and meaningful connection. From seasonal Bible studies to fun evenings together and our annual Christmas celebration, each gathering is an opportunity to grow in faith and build relationships with other women in our church family.

Details and registration information for each event will be shared as the dates approach, so be sure to check back for updates.
